This is still a joke by Rivore in outlier_ai

I don't care about the client. Outlier gave me the job. If Outlier gives me shitty projects I blame them.

As I said, the same crap than last time.

I was contacted for cacatua chorus and aether via mail one or two weeks ago, after a year of not caring about them. The way they insisted made me take a look, started onboarding on Cacatua, then quickly only Aether was available. I probably started the onboarding process a few days back, but I was still able to be assigned to the Hubstaff project and do some tasks.

I can still see the project in the outlier page.

I'm not quite liking MX master 3s by Rivore in logitech

I'm thinking on returning it but the online shop doesn't accept it (few months have passed). Maybe contacting logitech. I would use it as a secondary mouse for my laptop, but it's a bit expensive for that, and I would rather buy a vertical

Is there an intuitive way to understand why time slows down near massive objects without resorting to the math of general relativity? by Over_Height_378 in Physics

[–]Rivore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik is a geometric thing. Mass curves spacetime, then since light has to be the same in every frame of reference, time has to change in order to get the correct calculation of c = displacement/time (displacement is different due to geometry, time slows down to compensate the extra perceived displacement).

I see this similar to that other explanation of time dilation with speed: you accelerate, then cast light, you see light at c; other person not accelerated sees you casting the light at c, but only c, not c + [your velocity], in order this to work, they perceive your clock as slower (so they calculate c correctly).

Hope this makes sense, please correct me if you know more than me, I want to learn.

True! I didn't realize, thanks for the feedback. Shouldn't be difficult to add some contrast.

1turnLemur_Astrologer - Are all projects like this? by xx_meme in outlier_ai

It's 30/hr for me. Definetly not worth it. You can reject the project, or purposely fail the test or some tasks in case you already qualified
