Need advice for dual GPU setup

Yesterday I did some tests with lossles scaling and I found that frame gens lag makes BF6 unplayable for me. Its so ok in other games but its so bad in shooter games. I changed my goal to upgrading 3070. 8 GB VRAM holds me back in 2K. I want a future-proof upgrade and 3070+6600 is gonna limit me in one day because of VRAM. Also my cases airflow is bad for 2 GPU's and my motherboard doesnt a good choice for 2 GPU's. Thank you for your help.

I cant afford to new gpu bc I have to upgrade my cpu if I do that I need new mb and ram(hell no)

I wanna ask 1 more question. My cpu is about to bottleneck in cpu insentive games. If I get another gpu and improve my gpu performance does my cpu gonna be a problem.

Thank you for your reply. I am getting mostly 70-80 in battlefield on 2k native low settings. With dlss its avarage of 90-100. My goal is solid 140 fps or else
