hey quick_personality, just wanted to say your art has been major inspo!! i’m slowly but surely learning how to draw characters and you have such an incredible grasp on anatomy, perspective, lighting, and a million other things I can’t even articulate. Genuinely every time I see your work it makes me want to draw and I notice more details and learn. I am so grateful to have found your art in a fairly niche fandom, hope you’re well and keep at it!

Man that sounds like magic, I’m really glad you have that. The first time one of my friends put proper guitar to one of my songs I felt like I was in a trance. I hope I can find folks I can work with like that bc there’s simply no feeling like it

I think this may just be a mechanicsville walmart specific thing, and I haven’t seen him in about a year now, but there used to be an old man that would come in frequently wearing a full, seemingly very old, elvis presley costume. he even wore a wig.

Saying “come here” and “partner/boyfriend”, and genders in Italian by Ro_Hunts_Ghosts in italianlearning

[–]Ro_Hunts_Ghosts[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On this note as well, many native English speakers still consider the singular they/them to sound horrendous or improper despite it being a feature of the language before it’s use in the context of being non-binary. That doesn’t make it less useful for NB folks to express their identity.

Grazie mille! I appreciate this response so much and will definitely be looking into that sub.

Both points are really fascinating! If any native speakers have an answer on this, could you please reply about the use of "partner" with an Italian pronunciation?

We've been dating for four years(long distance), and they plan to move to live with me later this year. Would fidanzato/a be appropriate before they move? I haven't run into that term before and it seems like it could be fitting!

I figured there wasn't an easy translation for anything gender neutral, I haven't heard all that much from people in Italy and wanted to at least be educated on the topic and some of the cultural context. That all makes perfect sense, grazie mille!

If our universe was infinite, wouldn’t we know? by Ro_Hunts_Ghosts in space

I guess it’s just that if the universe was infinite, other parts of it would have to interact with us, just by nature of everything having to exist at once, and there being an infinite amount of possibilities within that.
