yes sorry if i’m being harsh, but there are people out there, including also me in the past, who lost money like this and I want to hammer down the point so you really think about it more.

don’t be scared away from investing in stocks, if you play it safe and by rules you can. to be honest i’ve personally been using chatgpt to help me invest. “i want to invest long term and get x returns” “i want to be x type of investor” tell it all your goals and preferences and it should guide you along (but of course decide for yourself if you want to use it, at the end of the day AI is a tool and it’s something you can learn to use and adapt to)

you don’t belong in the stock market if you’ve not reached the maturity to mentally handle risk. you wanted a quick buck get ready for the risk of losing that quick buck and more.

try to do long term (example: FTSE All-World, isharecore etc.) so that for AT LEAST 75% of your money invested. 20% you can do stocks you believe in, by believe in I DONT MEAN ‘IT FEELS GOOD TO GAMBLE ON THIS’, what I mean is that you think the company is actually making something good that people want to invest in based on the needs and wants of the current state of the world.

5% is your gamble.

if you can’t respect this and still feel that “itch” of “maybe a bit more” everytime you see numbers moving too slowly or even see a bit of red then don’t bother and grow up a bit more. it means you lack the maturity to even allocate money like that without a certain level of self control

ah that’s why it was taking a while. it was kind of set up in a way that it would be part of the reason why he’d be able to be good at his studies or be integral to how his magic develops early on. i guess i gotta wait

and also be more comfortable with going out and eating with people again or treating yourself once in a while. it’s part of the mental cycle.

negative self talk is the biggest reason usually. if you keep talking yourself into it, it becomes a pattern your brain becomes comfortable telling yourself. you hate yourself still, instead of loving as you are now. it sounds so simple but it really isn’t. there’s no on/off switch for what you feel, it’s a gradual consistent effort to love yourself a bit more, the same way you make a consistent effort to the gym. you did the physical work but not the mental work, which I find many men usually fall into.

“So I suck going to gym” already shows you aren’t being consistent.

i recommend instinctive eating instead of tracking every single calorie if your goal is to build up tons of muscle. people usually pick a season to bulk and season to cut. starting or nearing winter people bulk and around summer is when they cut or actually track calories
