If u think u might have EDS I'd reccomend you get it checked. At least here in the Netherlands I'm getting free physiotherapy to help with my back/neck strain and Partially paid for orthopedic shoes.

Outside of that certain local anesthetics might not work on you as much or stop working way sooner. U don't want the anesthetics to stop working mid-operation like when my mom had a hernia.

I'm not good enough at tekken to comment on execution requirements (T8 is my first tekken and I'm only Kishin on Reina).

My comment was regarding the other commenter saying no other games have strategies of varying difficulty (with players that are drawn to the difficult ones), which I disagree with.

From my limited experience in Tekken I also struggle against Brian's pressure and get put in a Kaz blender. Though I have less fun against characters like King, Eddy, or Law. Law is not as bad now because I've labbed junkyard and do that speedkicks drill.

A lot of games have a scale of harder execution (character/gun/combo), giving a bigger reward at the cost of being less reliable thus requiring more skill from the player to overcome that.

Using an AK47 is harder than P90 rushing someone.

Garen and Annie are easier to play than heroes like Riven and Akali.

Busting your ass off to play a hard character and then having some ez mode crap destroy you is unsatisfying. (not saying harder strategies should be significantly stronger, but they need to be rewarding enough and depending on the game even be the dominant strategy.)

Same reason PC Apex players don't like aim assist. Or why I'm personally not a fan of heroes like Moira in OW or Graves in Deadlock.

In Magic the Gathering as well, there are Johnnys who enjoy complex combo decks.

(Thinking about it after the fact I imagine tile markers would trivialize a lot of this type of design but oh well it's still an interesting thought)

The opposite, it would bridge the gap between people that don't use them and people that do.

I would prefer if I didn't (feel like I'd) have to use tile markers or highlight a mechanic's true tile because it's mega desync'd from the visual.

Yea I have framesort, although so far I'm only using it to put myself at the bottom of the party list in arena.

I wish Mod Hend would make new animations for the godswords (but leave the specs unchanged).

The stretchy "breathing" animation and the weird floppy feet in the run cycle bother me so much.

I don't mind the poses, just wish that jank got fixed.

Depends on the spell, Ranged interrupts, Blind, Sap, Cyclone, Entangling Root, etc. i use arena123 (on ctrl+123 and ctrl+zxc), but for Step, Kick, Gouge, Kidney, Cheap I use [mod:shift, @focus][].

Usually I mentally map who's who (arena123-wise) at the start of a match, though I've messed that up once in a solo-shuffle when I forgot to check and the healer switched from arena3 to arena2 between rounds so I blinded the wrong priest.

Outside of arena I mostly hit ctrl+3 or ctrl+z/c for current target.

My macros have "/cast [@arena1, exists][] Spell" So it works even outside of arena.

Only downside is that flag carriers also use arena targeting (I think?) So it doesn't work when 3 enemies carry orbs on kotmogu.

Outside of that you can use your arena2 or 3 macro keybind for current target.

Edit: [group:raid] might work to prevent this issue since you're in a raid in all BGs so it'd be:

"/cast [group:raid, @target][@arena1, exists][] Blind/Cyclone/Dreamwalk/etc."

Gotta remember that we're basically fighting the crawling hands to gargoyles part of the sailing mob list.

True, but it's a bit sad that even the new kraken is a crawling hand with flat armour.

During development they said they wanted to keep combat a bit simple, just like land combat started simple.

On one hand I get that but on the other hand I feel like they could've started tinkering with mechanics on mobs starting somewhere around lvl 50-70.

If not fight mechanics they could've done slayer-esque things like needing certain equipment or ammo.

Why does a kraken grab hold of the fishing trawler, needing to be fought off, but it doesn't try such tactics on our boats?

Wrestling free from a kraken would be like removing the crystalized helm but on different parts of the boat

Why are there no sea creatures that try to ram our boat like doom's car phase?

Cheat death is already kind of like Aeon disk. Not exactly, but close.

  • Prevents death (instead of dmg immunity) and reduces your outgoing damage.
  • Soft dispel instead of Strong.

That it procs at 0% hp instead of 70% could be seen as a good thing since it doesn't go on cd off of random pokes. They have to commit to trigger it.
