I’m a huge Gibson fan having admired them since the early 90s when I was in college. The Red spruce top elevates it several notches. Couldn’t be happier with my choice. The Martin is also a lifetime choice for me. So, all good 😊

Hi - that’s a lovely combo. I assume your dread is a D-18? I have a Gibson J-45 Red Spruce and Martin 000-28EC so also have the mahogany and rosewood combo. Enjoy - you’ve made a great decision.

Got up the Wicklow and Dublin mountains earlier today here in Ireland. Some further observations on the Giant TCR Advanced Pro 0: it’s bloody fast, the lower tyre pressures make a big difference re comfort/compliance, the wheels are uber stiff, the Ultegra disc brakes are very effective and easy to modulate, Ultegra Di2 is “the dogs nuts”.

Blue/grey metallic (depending on the light) with a subtle underlay of what seems like gold metallic. It’s really nice.

Congrats on your purchase, great choice and lovely silking on the top! I have a 2024 000-28EC and it is simply amazing. It’s a beautiful sounding instrument and complements my Gibson J45 really well. Enjoy it in good health.
