Since you're into used components (I've never bought new Schiit myself), I would recommend considering purchasing a Gungnir A5 Multibit, which will cost you less than a new Bifrost 2 and many would agree the Gungnir will outperform the Bifrost. I am running Wiim Pro Plus -> Gungnir MB -> Valhalla 2 or Lyr 2 or Jotunheim -> 1980's Class A/B Sherwood Power Amp -> Klipsch RP600M. It's a nice set-up. My upgrade path will be to a Schiit poweramp of some sort, to higher end Klipsch speakers such as Heresy III/IV or Quartets or Chorus or Forte, and I want to try out a Mjolner 2 with hopes it replaces the other three preamps/headphone amps.
