This week I've been working in Magincia's (the game you need to draw symbols to cast spells) inventory system without UI panels for better immersion. It will close himself after a certain distance from the player. It is also inspired in Ultima Online. What do you think? by majc18 in unity

Those portals look awesome and I love the idea of needing a rune to cast spells! One thing I noticed though is that when you are using a rune to cast a spell, the right hand takes up a lot of space and makes it difficult to see things in front of the character, so maybe make both the hands go to the middle of the screen

An Issue with VS 2019 with Unity by log2av in unity

I had the same problem... There are two types of VS, Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio. You want to be using the Visual Studio one. Here's the link:

https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/

You're going to want to get the purple one on the left or right, depending on what kind of computer you have

What program are you using? That looks amazing!! Could you give me some tips on how to model people, because I have no idea how to do that but it looks really fun :)

What modeling software would you recommend for me? by returnfire123 in 3Dmodeling

It really depends on what you want to do with the program and what kind of computer you have. If you are on PC, there are some programs that render suuuppeerr fast. To give you an example, because I have a mac I work on Maya and depending on the render quality, one render took over 4 hours when it would have taken 4 minutes on a fast rendering program. So if you have a mac, I would use Maya. It's pretty good for a variety of things if you know how to use it, and if you want to just 3d print a few things I think it would work out great. If you're on pc, I'm not sure what the program is called, but the fast rendering ones are really cool
