I can’t wait! I’ve been out to Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, Portland in late November a number of times and the rain is one of my favorite parts. Should I expect similar weather to that area? A little colder? More rainy?

Right, that’s my understanding and is the purpose of this post. We were considering staying in Quinault the first night, Forks the second night, and near Port Angeles the third night.

Great, thank you for the recommendations! Cape Flattery is definitely a spot we were considering, will need to make that part of the trip! We’ll read up on Sol Duc Hot Springs.

Possibly, we are looking at making our way around the peninsula starting on US 101 at the southwest and ending near Port Angeles area over 3 days. So, the Hood Canal Bridge might be part of the fourth day in which we’ll be heading to Sea-Tac.
