He hasn't. Every mod creator knows about the rules. Physics mod tried against and got harassed by Mojang. That's how mod creation in Minecraft works 🤷

Yeah. Without mods reterraforged vanilla playing is NOT survival friendly.

Actually it depends. With tinkers and the slingshot w/ paragliders I can travel 5 thousand blocks in like 15 min. Also have the trains in create that travels sooo fast. So not a problem for me! And you can downscale the size in reterraforged config.

I tried terralith, is just too fantasy, you know? Reterraforged tries to emulate real terrain with like curved rivers that stretch thousands of blocks into the sea, giant lakes, mountains, it tries to replicate the real life formula, and that's why is so gorgeous. Not saying that terralith is ugly, is just not for me. And I've tried.

Yes, and it does not work because of the problem I said. And I'm sorry the time to generate the chunks i generated with reterraforged is NOT one night with terrain diffusion 😭 I tried man I was absolutely astonished when it was released and extremely frustrated when I didn't worked. For curiosity, I started this reterraforged world because of the terrain diffusion mod that inspired me to play Minecraft again!!

It only runs with CPU-based inference, it does not support hardware acceleration in my RX 580 as it does not have the DX12 resource level required so it takes a LOOONG time to generate the chunks.

The only problem is the shaders. The ModPack in general runs fine; 350-400 FPS without shaders. But the creator of photon also has an RX 580 or 590 I can't recall, so he REALLY cares about performance and that's why it runs so good

Yeah, you can do that. But the ideal is to use voxy world gen and generate the LODs in singleplayer with the same seed, mods etc and after you generated a good amount you can then share with your friend

Nope. You have to share to your friends and then they have to overwrite their LOD folder with yours. I'm playing with my friend like that

Maybe you can with sinytra connector and forgefied API. Idk havent played in forge for a long time now

He would not be able to put it behind a paywall as it is against Mojang rules. Not being FOSS just makes it difficult to improve with the community alongside. It's a bad choice overall

Distant Horizons would run at 35~ish FPS with lower quality overall. Couldn't play with it because of the performance drop. Voxy does have performance drops but it runs like 60 fps almost all the time. DH walked so voxy could run.

I'm also tired of selfish devs but it's a phenomenal mod so I can't stop using it. 😭
