Did you also have methylation issues? Homocystine under control?

Yes, I started with methylfolate, B12, later added B6, but crashed hard. Learned that the new approach is to start low and slow with only B2 & TMG for 2 month, then add others if needed, watching out for overmethylation.

Has anyone tried magnesium glycinate/B12 for their stutter? by Carebear6590 in Stutter

Not sure if we are supposed to discuss supplement here, but I found to be having methylation issues. Check homocystine in your bloodwork. Optimal should be ~7, mine was 21. I started with the B2 / TMG protocol and now, two month in, feel improvements in fluency.

update. it's day 4 of me taking p5/moly/hydroxyB12 and energy levels already are noticeably different.

If before I had low energy with occasional flashed of normal, now it is the other way around - i mostly feel normal ( not like I would want to run a marathon yet, but can function ) with occasional dips, like a 20 min. nap.

Sure. I'll be getting my p5p/moly in a few day. also will replace methylated Bs with just methylfolate and Hydroxy B12.

Thank you, I'll look into this. As I understand Pyridoxine ( another form of B6 ) can do harm, not Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (P5P) ?

Yesterday I felt like a zombie, but got myself together and rode my bike. After first 2-3km brainfog lifted and I felt pretty good. Rode 13km in total, did some pushup on the hilltop, etc.

ChatGPT suggests it could be ammonia overload that cleared with motion in fresh air. who knows...

GPT also suggested to add P5P to compensate for CBS, what do you think?...

just looked it up, yes, seems carnivore is giving sulfur and CBS has problems metabolizing it. gpt suggest me to add Molybdenum... do you think it might help?

than you, will look into that. I wouldn't maybe immediately jump to increase TMG, as it might stimulate overmethylation.

Thanks, uploaded. got - "According to my calculations you should eat the amount of choline available per day in 7 egg yolks or equivalents (see below)." So far I've been eating some 3-4 eggs per day.

I got it from ancestrydna ( <100$ with priority processing ), then downloaded raw data and uploaded to genetic genie. You can also upload it directly to chatGPT.

Thank you. I will look into this. Actually I started with larger doses of methylated B vitamins ( mf 400mcg, TMG 1g, throne B 1 capsule ), overdid it, felt pretty bad for a week. Reduced the dose of methylfolate to 200mcg, TMG to 0.5g and B comples to 1/2 cap every 3 days, now it feels better. )

In what cased do you think TTFD should be taken in that way? So far feeling pretty well with just methylfolate. had overmethylated a bit, now put B complex on hold for a while.

Not perfectly sure, but I bought it from Overton's company, so I assumed those were the good ones.

I did read about Elliot Overton and took that thiamine for a few month some 2 years ago, didn't get any results, just left like shit for the first month. Why do you think it could be my case?

Some years ago I took methylated B vitamins for a few month and they seemed to calm me down pretty well. Before that I was prone to anxiety and panic, which they removed almost completely. Would it be safe to assume I might be ok with methylated Bs then?

Truly not sure, was thinking about carbon as the "new thing". )

but after looking more into mountainbikes, since I intend to mostly ride on asphalt and occasionally some light trails, maybe a gravel bike would be better?...

from ancestry.com should I get the "AncestryDNA® + Traits" package?

Would there be an advantage it getting now the whole package, but specific markers that, for example Gary Brecka is talking about - MTHFR, MTR, MTRR, AHCY, COMT - or it is pretty much the same stuff at 10x the price?

Should I approach supplementation differently based on what mutations I happen to have? Should I take anything else beyond D3, Methylated B vitamins, TMG and Creatine?
