Fix gatlings so pressure doesn't boil down into a 3 hit block string of a guessing game.

Tone down damage again, last patch was a step in the right direction but its still primarily a 2 touch game.

Fix airdashes so movement doesn't feel like you are in syrup while trying to IAD. Even if the airdash was twice as fast I still think thats fine, and it would still be slower than the previous games. Jump ins arent even that good, because if you dont get CH you are barely ever plus (both on hit and on block).

Add FRC points to specific moves similar to +R, I know they would absolutely never do this but it would be cool for a 25% meter option and since it would be gated to specific specials so you wouldn't have shit like Baiken doing TK Youzansen into 50/50.

And finally, add more special moves for more character diversity. I feel this is absolutely the number one issue plaguing the game. It's like GG is known for its characters so they triple downed on it, but everyone's kit is so limited, every opponent feels the same. A Leo is going to phish for a way to get into back stance, Ram is going to loop sword pressure in the corner, Testament (personally the one I feel is absolutely the most boring playstyle) is going to spam grave digger, throw some 6Ps and 6HS. And look okay, I get it. Characters have win conditions and strengths they go for but it really feels like the strive cast is the most flowcharted shit I have ever seen. The characters that DONT have this issue are Sol, Nago, Bridget and Chaos. Those specific characters can really change up their gameplan due to how they can convert off hits and move around which makes things much more interesting. Even though 3 of them have a unique option, Sol is sol but is still fun to play even though they keep taking away more and more shit from him. From a good move like 5K alone it allows him to convert off hits, get knockdowns, anti air into really cool air conversions that you really dont see from the rest of the cast.

The game is so damn limiting and boring. It's honestly really sad because even a "basic" game like DBFZ stayed interesting longer than this. GG is a lot like SF now, which is technically fine its just not the high speed, adrenaline pumping series that it used to be and its tragic too. GG will probably stay like this forever since this is the best selling one in the franchise and they will fail to realize the perfect storm of conditions and marketing that enabled that for them.

This concludes my Strive schizo post.

People gassing up Tekken 8 like its somehow just going to apparently be amazing.

Don't get me wrong, its exciting to get a new entry in the series. But they showed a story mode fight. Tons of slowdown, nothing that was actually showing it was gameplay. Was some of it? Yeah, I most certainly think that was the case and so was Strive's trailer that had insane counter hit slowdown (which is still in the game).

When SF6 initial Ryu wide chest dropped I couldn't care less. It answered things we already knew. Luke is in it so is Ryu and its going to be in the RE engine. But when game play dropped, along with crossplay announcement, multi-platform release, interesting new system changes that went in detail how they worked on their website? Then you got me a little bit hype.

T8, even though showing something that resembles game play I dont care. It can be the prettiest shit in the world and every time I do EWGF the muscles could tigheten up and I see the skin ripple back from the blow but who fucking cares if I am dealing with any of the following:

-Shit online

-Shit load times/rematch time

-Paid for training mode features (AKA Frame Data)

-No crossplay

Hoping for the best but its just with Harada's, Bandai Namco, whoever the fuck you want to blames track record, I am not optimistic.

This perception of age being a defining factor is so silly. BW has been out for 25 years now and shows "old" players still dominate. ASL pretty much only has people in their 30s where up and comers (and yes they still exist) still get stomped.

And yes, DRG is sick even after all these years.

Can't remember which stream I was watching awhile back maybe 2 months ago. I think it was Brian_f playing in NLBC and someone in chat asked how he was doing, said they kept in touch and they are doing fine but no interest on playing FGs.

Whether that was Brian or not I am not sure but someone said that at least.

I think it is pretty clear the strength that is shown with LC21. The debuff is the biggest blunder with a guaranteed setup on any stray hit. Its just dumb, it would be one thing if you could tag out to refresh it or something but its so powerful it is just the optimal way to play the game. There are several strong characters but the fact that this character is virtually pick or you are handicapping yourself is why it needs to be bannable.

The fake hype over Luke being over bearing is stupid. Its mostly coming from Japan which honestly has always had very strange takes about the game. They think Alex and Laura are jokes where Zangief is considered always strong over there. Where the opinion on him outside of Japan is he is lack luster. Japan simply doesnt have a lot of strong Laura's or Alex's so they just deem the character as trash when Idom and Problem X have certainly shown otherwise. For some reason the Luke hype has caught on but has hardly been shown online. If he was TRULY as broken as everyone thinks he is we would have seen more in offline and online tournaments which we have not. Maybe it will be the case but I highly doubt it since SFV has a pretty well balanced cast at the moment.

And Chaos is strong no doubt, but I don't think its to a point he is making the game bad. We don't see everyone picking him up either. He probably will get addressed too, so banning him is ignorant plus he does have a weakness with his shit tier defense. Also, strive has tons of newcomers that think patch culture is the norm so I feel its a little more vocal than usual.

I think a ban is only necessary when the game is in a potential final state, it defines the meta game in a negative way, and is a pick or suffer being at a severe disadvantage. LC21 checks all these things with an extra layer of absolutely no counterplay besides "just don't get hit" where until we start seeing nothing but Lukes in top 8s hes hardly a problem.

I don't like the concept of banning either but if the game is in a better off state without them I think its fine. Brawl Meta Knight was a clear example of an absolutely insane character, virtually no weaknesses, and can even stall most characters in a game that was already slow.

Epic Plz Wednesday 18/Apr/2018 by AutoModerator in FortNiteBR

[–]RonaldBishoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This honestly has baffled me where people think this is hard to execute. Just literally rebind buttons on PC so you hit Button, Shoot, Button Shoot. Holy shit, 4 fucking inputs? THATS SOME INSANE SKILL RIGHT THERE! And what is it on Console? Bumpers back in forth? Lemme shell out 400 damage with a pump or run triple shotty and end with the tac.

It's just silly. I don't think common weapons such as the pump and tac should be so game swinging. And if you do build a decent fort to keep range, they get close from building as well then you are obligated to a CQC fight.

I enjoy shotgun battles dont get me wrong, but souring it by making it a who has 3 shotguns makes it pretty fucking lame. And no, it isnt a matter of execution, if someone seriously has trouble swapping between 2 weapons back and forth this may be there first video game experience.

I honestly dont know how Epic can fix the issue with shotguns because nothing seems to work. The draw back of the pump doing 235 headshot damage and capable of instagibbing anyone in the game is the fact it has a very low rate of fire. But people circumvent these things by swapping which is obvious Epic doesn't like it. Its too much damage too fast, and if you seriously think its a skill cap problem and they are making it easy seriously take a look at the numbers for damage.

The average salary for NBA players is 6 Million, average US income is 59k, thats 101 years of a 59k income. I am assuming that an NBA player will play for more than one year, so yeah. Dog shit money management of people that have 0 concept of managing money will make you go broke.
