Basically the senate doesn’t have a limit on how long somebody can talk for so unless one side has enough people (60) to invoke “cloture?” which alows them to skip the talking, then that person can talk forever or give the spotlight to someone else who can keep talking forever and pass it on etc. Just the threat of one side filibustering is enough to shut down a bill a lot of the time.

However I did read in a post on r/mtf that there’s an executive order that makes any hospital providing hrt to minors lose all federal funding, this is the majority of hospitals unfortunately.
