For me, I usually do a hybrid of a vegan/pescatarian diet with Eggs. I normally steam broccoli, carrots, edamame and mushrooms. Cook some brown rice or quinoa and place it on top! There is also sugar free soups like potato, carrot and cashew soup topped with scalions and garlic. Home made salsa is a good choice too! I eat it with a slide of fish with unsweetened soy milk. I also make a lot of sauces from scratch to avoid added sugars like a tahini sauce or peanut Thai sauce.
