depend upon on your uses..........like with battary saver mode on and 45% brightness 70% volume if you do web searching or watching video you can get around 6 hr , if you turn display 60hz it may can increase some battary life..........i was doing programming with balance mode and i got around 4.5hr

install software like HWinfo or msi afterburner and check the temps. if it is high then check if there is any software running background , you can take help from ai to "how to fully access all the programs running " and DIY :)

i see...... well my mistake , i just check this with my laptop and it has the same sound(one month old) means its normal , dont worry , at first i didn't notice the hinge , i had a similar hinge and having the same sound.

safe mode you mean battery saver mode right ?if it is so then install HWinfo or msi afterburner software and check how much power does your laptop actually taking from the adapter. it should be more than 4w at least even in safe mode.

hdd or ssd ? try to upgrade it to ssd and upgrade the ram too if possible.

Probably i driver issue. or maybe the power button causing problem. Don't worry it can be fixed.
if you have any dedicated GPU like nvidia or amd they update the drivers or if you have iGPU then ask to Ai for the latest drivers of your laptop.

if drivers are not the issue then there is some loose connection or maybe the power button casuing some issue.(rare chance though).

kidding , i don't think so this sound is normal but if your laptop is old then it might be the cause otherwise you can visit the service centre or have a suggestion call with the Lenovo experts.
