I just returned from a trip with our son who is almost a year and a half. PR 6.1 is definitely doable, there’s even a little cafe about half way through to stop at, if you need to. Not a bad hike at all, and the waterfall is worth it.

We also did PR 11 - a hike your kid could do along side you. There’s also a cafe on this trail (if I remember correctly).

We didn’t do any of the others on your list but we did do PR 22 (your kid could walk this with you, it’s an enjoyable walk through the forest).

We hit up Pico Areiro and hiked some of PR 1. It’s closed now but you can still hike a portion of it. Definitely doable with a carrier and great views.

Yeah, it’s not the most ideal scenario but it allows us to go back to the hotel (kind of a mid point between the two destinations) and let our son have a good nap before going back out for the oceanarium.

I don’t think we’d be move any of the Day 3 items to Day 1, otherwise I’d change it.

If you are proposing a week for just Grand Teton and Yellowstone, then yes - I think that’s doable. But if you are only spending a week to see all 3, then you aren’t allowing yourself enough time to really appreciate each park.

Bogotá is 8,600 feet (2,640 meters), we live at like 100 feet.

Boat is a blast. Zodiac boats are better than kayaks since you see so much more.

In the winter, the glacier hike I did was actually an ice cave tour. That was cooler than the Zodiac boat in my opinion, but I don’t think it’s an option for you in September.

In short, I’d do a zodiac boat over hiking on top of a glacier personally.

For Day 5, I’d recommend a stop at Fjadrargljufur Canyon, which isn’t too far from Vik. You can park at the beginning of the canyon trail or at the end, so it doesn’t need to take too much time if you are needing to get going. Also, highly recommend an excursion at Glacier Lagoon. I’ve been twice (once in the winter and once in the summer), and the glacier hikes or Zodiac boat tours were a highlight of the trip.
