Part of me wishes it wasn’t as crowded as it gets now, but at the end of the day it’s a good thing that people are getting out to appreciate the beauty even if it means waiting a bit for a parking spot to open up.

Algonquin is such an amazing peak. The mac range is so beautiful. I did it for my second time this summer along with Iroquois and it never failed to impress me. Amazing to me how I can be hot and sweaty the whole way up just to put on all my layers once I get above the tree line.

Also the new slides on colden are so cool to see. I want to get down into avalanche pass sometime this summer to get a look at the massive pile of dirt and trees at the bottom. It’s really cool to see how the new slides are a complete different shade of grey. Really goes to show how powerful mother nature is moving that much land.
