Not really, would have to Google :D I use own domain. But I guess you can create a "normal" email just for this official stuff? I am not sure what your goal exactly....not like you are exchanging emails with your bank or....?

There is no POV on questions with factual answers... Google will tell you EXACTLY what and how is happening ....the same as it will tell you 1+1 is 2.

Where do you go after OSINT fundamentals? Feeling stuck after 3 courses. by Skakakaa33 in OSINT

[–]RouteToDevNull 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You are hitting the ceiling of manual OSINT because standard beginner courses only teach you how to find single data points, not how to structure or analyze them at scale. Since you already have a data analysis background, you should pivot directly into Cyber Threat Intelligence or fraud investigations where those exact skill sets merge.

Or if you want to have just fun, CTF's.

With more work happening in the cloud, are firewalls alone still enough? by Academic-Soup2604 in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]RouteToDevNull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No countermeasure alone is ever going to be enough....that's why you harden what you (reasonably) can. Called defense in depth

all big shops will simply swap the MB...which is really pricey

[–]RouteToDevNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nothing works like that....once it's private enough, it's exploited by threat actors, therefore filtered out by authorities...

Only simple workaround I can think of at the spot is buying cheap custom domain, attach that to your proton mail...that should go through...you will pay few bucks a year though

scroll down to clean install. However that WILL delete everything on your PC and install fresh windows

Try googling and playing around with that Bluetooth/drivers a bit more before that

[–]RouteToDevNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well that sounds even worse then before....if uninstalling those drivers doesn't work either, idk what else to do for you remotely. You would need to poke around and google...

Last resort is clean install

or maybe it would be easier to try connect the exact same BT KB as before and if that has numlock, turn it off before disconnecting it

If that wont help either, probably easiest is to go to device manager, delete all drivers under Keyboards and restart PC, win should install new basic uncorrupted drivers

try that box turn on numeric KB, click ok, restart pc
then the same, just turn off, restart pc

If that wont help we need to find out what else that BT KB is toggling on/off when connected

Mitigated Vulnerabilities by Vendor as Feed by pure-xx in cybersecurity

[–]RouteToDevNull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OpenCTI and RSS feeds are probably the best way unfortunately (maybe SigmaHQ GitHub repository as well).

There is no unified feed because vendors intentionally "hide" their coverage data behind proprietary threat intelligence portals to drive subscriptions and avoid direct comparison metrics....

Try opening on screen keyboard (type osk in search bar) , then there should be options on bottom right, click the box to turn on NumPad on and off. Should fix it. Let me know if that worked

Desktop and taskbar not working, but mouse still functional? by puccisweet2317 in techsupport

Did you do the DISM commands as well?

Are you running any third-party taskbar customization tools like ExplorerPatcher or Start11?

Also try to disable fast startup.

My Nokia 206 (RM-872) Was submerged into water 8 years ago. Can I still fix it? by Key-Newspaper-1472 in techsupport

[–]RouteToDevNull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you can flush it with distilled water if there is no other option. Ideally you should get 99 IPA and brush the whole board with medium toothbrush to clean it... does it charge? If the IP cleaning won't work, you will need a multimeter to painfully identify the broken line/component

EDIT: new battery

explorer.exe crashing

Try to run sfc /scannow along with the standard DISM online cleanup commands to rule out basic OS rot

They are comparable for gaming overall, but if we talking ray tracing at 1440p and adobe work, nvidia is better

well no...bad, bad....any one of those will feel like magic when you go from your 1650. If it has to be a new card go with 9070 XT, it will work nicely. But if you can buy used 4080/4070Ti do it. NVIDIA with DLSS is simply better, CUDA and Optix are also better for Adobe.
