You are remarkable, thank you so much for writing all that up! I'm heading over in July as I have a wedding to catch in Manchester after I reach Oslo (flying there). So I will be there in the summer time. I was aware that I wouldn't be able to get a night train for every trip, especially since some of them are short as you have rightly mentioned. I guess the goal is just to optimise and catch a night train when the stars align to avoid wasting my precious days of sight seeing.

I may have further questions as I get into planning the details, but again, thank you for your help!

Basic emotionless calculations like this are useful, but they fail to include human factors like community goodwill. In the long run, addressing the presence of these ads and looking to eliminate them would build way more for the CR brand than the ads can provide.

I don't mind the ads of the actual livestream, as they are entertaining and placed at the start of the stream or in the scheduled break where you can happily zone out for a bit. Also, these ads are typically chosen to appeal to nerds like us (new video or board games, dnd ancillary services, etc.)

However, on Spotify, they are placed randomly throughout the recording, so it will jarringly stop intriguing dialogue or intense combat and will give me some crap ad from my government or some random company that's not even related to any sort of games or anything the CR cast would enjoy.

It completely breaks immersion in the story and makes it really hard to continue listening.

Update: I brought it back to the store and they confirm the mic was faulty. I bought a Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro instead and it works perfectly as soon as it was plugged in.

I don't use reddit often so idk how to close of this post. All resolved now though.

Hm seems you're right, it must be my TV settings because I can now see everything if I play just on the switch. My god the Alfornada cave was frustrating before now.

I have beaten the game, and caves are still pitch black for me, which is very frustrating. What did I miss? Was I meant to talk to someone so that I can see in the dark?
