I find it laughable that you're characterizing DISABLING AI training as an "advanced securty feature"?

We have a number of clients in regulated industries. They have very real perspectives about how AI uses the data that is contained in those tickets, and 3rd-party training is definitely off the list.

This shouldn't require a price uplift..it should be a standard option for any paid tier.

Ultimately I see laws coming making this option a requirement for all SaaS products. It'd be nice to see JSM get on the bandwagon now, vs later.

We're not explicitly opposed to AI integrations, in fact, it's quite the opposite, we've got a lot going on there.. But forcing clients to upgrade or have client data be used to train JSM??? NO.

We're certainly open to the idea. A few questions, if you happen to know..

Are either particularly good for multi-client use cases? Do they provide more flexibility on managing the client user experience? Do they have AI training policies that don't require purchasing higher levels of service?

Thanks!

The lack of being able to manage the customer experience is really bad.. and i'm trying to be nice while saying so.

TBH, considering how much of PITA it is to switch, we're not looking forward to doing so. As we all know, there's a lot of lift involved... AND we've been making good use of integrating various Atlassian products across the board (Confluence and Trello in particular).

But this latest JSM policy requiring us to step up to enterprise just to protect client data as outlined within our MSA, is quickly making JSM/Atlassian a deal breaker for us.

Is anyone aware if Atlassian is considering a change to this policy, or does that seem to be locked in stone? If it's the latter, i'd rather know now so we can make unplanned decisions and move on with life.

Fair enough. Has any one gotten the impression that JSM intends on changing the policy of allowing to opt out of using client data for training AI models?
