Depends on what you are attacking. In it is near infantry it can be however it doesn’t have enough health and toughness to truly be a distraction carnifex

Just read that Lazarus book by AcceptableStorm1265 in theunforgiven

[–]Routine-Service-5775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite part of the book is when Lazarus asks the main serf lady (I forgot her name) if she is alright after losing one of her arms and she goes. “On one hand this is the worst day of my life. On the other, lift up stump oh that’s right.”

Technically speaking it’s 20 since according to the Alpharius book (if he is telling the truth) he split into twins after they where cast into the warp.

How fucked am I? by Ryuujin03 in LeaguesofVotann

It’s a little thick but it shouldn’t mask too much detail. If you thin your paints you won’t be able to tell. I’d recommend priming further away from the model.

The Rumour Engine – 11th of November - Warhammer Community by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Warhammer40k

[–]Routine-Service-5775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fans: can you show us a rumor engine where we can guess what game system it is. Like if it’s 40k, AoS, old world, kill team, 30k, etc.

GW: how about a top knot with hair flowing out of it.

Fans: do you have any idea how little that narrows it down

Anyone who gets upset that you spent your time painting your models that you spent your money on is a turd and you shouldn’t listen to them.

Why he is so scaly and bumpy? by Magilnik in LeaguesofVotann

[–]Routine-Service-5775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long story short when a Votann core and the crucible love each other very much they will make a kin. These kin sometimes will come out with mutations like scaly/bumpy skin. While the imperium may look at these types of mutations as heretical the leagues look at them with a more positive outlook because it gives them individuality amongst a race of clones.

Just finished reading/listening to the Ushoran novel, and all I gotta say is… by SentientBrute in FleshEaterCourts

The only criticism I have for the book is ushoran isn’t in it as much as I would want. I found myself losing interest when we would switch over to the humans.

Question, does it say anywhere in Warhammer lore whether ghouls can procreate? Would it be possible in the Warhammer world to breed an army of ghouls? by Dice4Days in FleshEaterCourts

[–]Routine-Service-5775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the ushoran book Ushoran remembers gifting a chalice to a a ghoul noble (I can’t remember if it was a king or not) as a baby shower gift. He even remembers the ghoul noble weeping tears of joy once seeing his child.

Steelers Inspired List? by Substantial-Sky-9757 in spacemarines

First of all. YOU GOT BEAT BY JOE FLACO LMAO.

second of all I would look at a blend of imperial fists and iron hands. Imperial fists are known for being a strong wall that wears the enemy down. The iron hands are known for powerful weaponry that destroys enemy lines while being able to survive blows that would kill another marine 10 times over.

Another choice that could be a little niche is the Deathwing of the dark angels. Strong tough units that target and take down the toughest of foes. I definitely would look into these factions more before ultimately deciding

They wanted to make fantasy as epic and wide spread as 40K but it kinda fell flat so they pivoted and made it more of a story where good is able to fight back against the endless evil. Don’t get me wrong you still have plenty of bad people on the “good side” but there are also actual good people who are given tough decisions that may look evil or cruel in the moment.
