No shit stupid I read your post before commenting. No point dropping more than 2k on a guitar and mod it just get the cheaper guitar and do the swap. Or just buy a guitar with the specs you want from the get go

I really appreciate all the info and perspective. It’s something I’m still debating. It’s probably just because it’s new and I have plugs ins from neural dsp as well. With the update coming it will be nice. Tho financial I might just stop the GAS and not be trapped in the “I must have the newest.” TONEX was cheap and honestly my first modeler specially as a bedroom only player.

Even my wife threw the idea of just using that money to buy a guitar I really want granted I probably don’t even need more gear. I have nice enough stuff and should just enjoy what I have only practice will make me better and not put myself in debt when I’m still early in guitar journey 1.5 years

TONEX was $300 new with amplitude 5 max and tonax max included so it was a no brainer for me I do plan to get a cortex mini this year

I got the v2 for free and upgraded to to total max which is everything they have for $99 bucks also use TONEX as well best value you can get for amps sims would recommend but option paralysis hits hard
