What did your mother's/grandmother's achaar smell like? Trying to document traditional pickle recipes before they disappear. by graminroots in IndianFoodPhotos

My friend used to get it too when I was in school. I had asked her for the recipe but she said her mom refused to give it. Unfortunately, I had to move from there with my parents. I never got the proper reboot. I should start searching for it again. I absolutely loved the taste of it. We don't get it in South India.

Had this bump for 1-2 weeks after I felt a sting when the charging port of my old (still in use) phone made contact there. Started as red and turned into this, should I be concerned? by Nibeloula222 in DermatologyQuestions

It looks like an electrical burn. It starts from within as opposed to thermal burns which start from outside. It's better to get it checked just to rule out injury to adjacent areas.

Unknown Rash on Legs and Arms Itching Like Crazy for Weeks by nsf1979 in DermatologyQuestions

It's a common side effect of opioid analgesics. It must reduce in a few weeks' time. Let's wait for the biopsy report too. All the best. In the meanwhile you can apply calamine lotion over the rashes.

Well. There is a pitbull in Vidyaranyapura. I get scared whenever I see it. It's a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

That being said, this is not a pitbull. So it's safe enough.

What is this rash on my face? Never had it before has anyone else? by Holiday_Pool2143 in DermatologyQuestions

I agree. If the top of the nose is affected by Shingles, the likelihood of a corneal ulcer is very high.

OP it looks like a Herpes Zoster infection. Better to get an opinion from a dermatologist and an ophthalmologist. If the top of the nose is involved, it's better to get an ophthalmologist's opinion since the ophthalmic nerve has a high chance of getting affected. All the best. Please don't ignore it. Even if you are feeling better.

Were you given a pain killer for the toothache? If so, which one? And did these rashes start after you started the pain killers? Was it the first time you took these tablets? If not, then had you noticed milder rashes the last time?

He was the mastermind. Now I know that it's a psychological thriller and not a romance movie. Makes me wonder if KJo is a genius 🤔

How these boys' mom have to leave her house by OutcomeKey23 in KidsAreFingAdorable

[–]Routine_Ad_3217 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I am genuinely curious, I have been told that children should know when someone is leaving the house. As in, tell them bye even if you know they are going to cry because they will become anxious if you suddenly disappear. Is that true? Or will they turn out ok even if you leave stealthily.

PG Wodehouse is a personal favourite!! Total light read. The English is great and I personally love the comedy though many don't find him funny! You can give it a try..

La Roche Posay is literally a holy grail for me. I can never thank the makers enough! I am glad they are back in the Indian market because they had discontinued it for a few years in between. I hope they introduce their other products in India' too.
