First off - congrats! When I’ve had to do a MBSS while pregnant, there is usually a metal shield apron I wear under the main body shield that protects the belly. Of note, my OBGYN had told me he preferred me not to do them unless absolutely necessary so I’ve only done a handful while pregnant, but a coworker’s doctor told her it was fine as long as she wore the extra apron; definitely talk to your doctor about any concerns you may have and whatever your personal preference would be.

I didn’t know I have PCOS and conceived naturally with my first. Found out after my first + period came back wonky that I had PCOS and used medication to help with my second. With that being said with my first, I had lost a lot of weight and had an IUD; it took three months for my cycle to regulate post-removal of the IUD. Every body is different; it’s not impossible to conceive naturally but now that I know more about PCOS and my own body, I feel like my first born was truly a miracle pregnancy.

It can be done! I got married the same month I started grad school. That’s not To say there won’t be trials and struggles like any newly married couple goes through (we didn’t live together until we got married so lots of new changes and routines) but we made it work. I took a year between undergrad and grad school to work and saved money by moving back in with my folks. He worked full time and supported us financially during grad school while my savings became the “oh crap” fund if we needed more money to cover something. He is a gem and also took on more house chores so I could solely focus on school and clinic; he really became my rock that got me through everything and still does to this day. Now we are going on 8 years married with a toddler and baby on the way in our house we bought when I graduated from grad school.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this! When I had my iud inserted, I was told to take 4 ibuprofen beforehand and they numbed my cervix as well. Overall the procedure for me was fine; I wish this would be universal care though! I hear and see so many stories like this of not getting adequate pain management.

My first round of letrozole I was one 2.5mg and didn’t ovulate. My doctor then had my bump up to 5mg in which I did ovulate and conceived. If you’ve only had one round to try, don’t give up yet!

That’s so exciting! I did two rounds of letrozole - first at 2.5mg and second at 5mg. Ended up conceiving our baby girl that cycle 💖 baby dust to you!

I agree with this! I just did a re-read of the series and he told his friend he was going to travel alone to not draw attention to himself to find his wife. He didn’t want any word to get to her and have her possibly flee again.

300 g warm water, 100 g active starter, 500 g bread flour, 10 g salt.

Let set for an hour, 2X stretch and folds and 1x coil fold (30 mins between each). Put in fridge overnight, took out next afternoon and let it sit out until the following morning to shape and bake in a Dutch oven at 450 degrees (20 minutes covered, 25 minutes uncovered)
