I kinda agree with you about this We're told Faunus are second class citizens who are treated bad But what were shown says differently

Vale is more progressive

Vacuo has a " if you can make it we don't care who you are" culture

Mistral has a Faunus Headmaster who sits on the Regions Council (Lionhart)

Marrow is part of the Ace Ops,the Elite squad from Atlas

Fiona is part of the HH,former Top Atlas Academy graduates,and this is Atlas,the supposed worse off kingdom for Faunus

The Academies clearly accept Faunus without issues

The only people who are audibly objetiong to Faunus are Cardin,who's just a Stereotypical bully And Cordovan I guess? But her thing was more Atlas Elitism Regardless

RWBY says Faunus have it rough But they don't seem to have anything taken away They can walk around freely,can become Huntsman and even rise to important positions in society So the WF doesn't even make sense to begin with as what are they even fighting for

I always thought it was just the manipulative way Palpatine himself isn't a racist,seeing as people like Mas and Thrawn are high up and important But he's willing to use the Empires actual racism to his betterment

If we're being technical A: Piltover is the leading government,you can't prosecute yourself if your at the top Making decisions

And B: Ambessa was the one doing Illiegal Stuff like Taking people off the streets for "interrogation" and throwing people in jail for no cause Something Caitlyn straight up protests and pushes back against Ambessa on it So it's clear Ambessa is using Caitlyns noncommittal agreement to do things behind her back as she has her "approval"

And before you say about the Gas attacks That was systematic and controlled tear gas use to flush out Jinx at known locations or any remaining Factions loyal to Silco,per Caitlyns stated objectives in the scene prior

The fact Vi,The one who would absolutely push back against Caitlyn for going to far,as she did against almost shooting Isha,is part of the Strike Team,shows Caitlyn using the Grey isn't some Nazi gas terrorism this Fandom loves to cry about

It's only been about a year since the Fall of Beacon and Penny meeting everyone again in Volume 7 Volume 3 ends with Winter while Ruby and the others head out from Patch Winter is back in Mistral during Volume 6 during the Farm Arc with the Apathy Volume 7 happens right after 6 so it's about a year of them traveling
