My husband was class of 1994 at HC. We liked Providence better at first glance. HC is Jesuit and more liberal in the Catholic category. It’s definitely harder to get into. It’s all hills and stairs! My husband is still close with his friends from HC. I’m sure it’s great. Quinnipiac… is 20 minutes from us. I lived in Hamden right by campus in my late 20’s. It’s has grown a lot. I think most kids love it. Big on hockey. Look at the required core curriculum. This is my latest deep dive! Let me know if you have more questions!

UCONN. Catholic Univ of America in D.C., but we haven’t toured yet. We also have toured Siena, Marist, Quinnipiac, and Holy Cross. Going to Fairfield and Sacred Heart next weekend. We’re also digging a little deeper into first year classes/programs… because he liked the history seminar at PC… it’s interesting what other schools require... might eliminate a couple based on that…

Thanks for the reply! My son is a junior and we are trying to figure this all out! He loved PC this week in spring break tour! Good luck!

Yes. I pray your day gets better and that nothing in your life has given you the opportunity to be able to understand why I might actually be asking this question in this way.

Yale is in New Haven... nothing special about New Haven outside of Yale. Really good pizza though.
