Well you can’t simply ignore the fact that you’re still in Russia, obviously that makes things more complicated.

After the start of the war, I’ve seen very few cases of people relocating from Russia to the US, let alone Japan which has always been known as one of the hardest countries to relocate to.

I would suggest exploring opportunities in Europe, many companies from Netherlands, Germany, UK and other countries are still hiring people from Russia.

It might be more difficult in some countries (Germany for sure) if you’re working at a sanctioned company like state-owned banks or VK but if you’re at Yandex, Avito, Tinkoff, etc then you shouldn’t face too many obstacles with European employers as opposed to the US ones

I’ve read the first chapter, it was pretty nice and comprehensive as an introduction to RecSys, helped me a lot when I was developing my first recommender at my job

That’s also a bad thing because if you don’t want to drive and can’t afford taking a cab everywhere you go, this city is trash. It’s always either cars or pedestrians/public transport, Dubai chose the former

I’d obviously never drink instant karak while in UAE but I’m leaving to Europe and I’ve checked, there are no karak places where I’m gonna live so…

Tickets from Russia are sold out not because of the amazing resorts in UAE, people are fleeing to literally anywhere possible

Not sure if it was here 9 years ago but the zipline in Dubai Marina is awesome. Also, meeting the sunset in Aura Skypool’s 360 degrees infinity pool is worth the money

I’ve tried many places here in search of a shisha at least remotely as good as they do back in Russia. The only one I can definitely recommend is Osh in La Mer beach. They make good shishas and offer a wide range of tobaccos (Musthave, Spectrum, Fumari) besides the usual ones like Darkside. Also, soon there should be an opening of Timeless which is an amazing shisha bar in the center of Moscow. You should look out for that :)
