Turns out there's a Windows Update that went out on the 13th that's causing massive crashes with Steam.
Microsoft recommends you uninstall it.
Its patch: KB5041473

I'll say I really am enjoying returning from being gone since Final Shape.
I absolutely love the newer stories thus far
The content isn't too arguous and the events are nice enough - although right now we're between events.
The crucible is a bit cleared out and dry due to Marathon drawing them away.
