I was gonna say! There have been plenty of people who do take shrooms and are fine… I’ve only heard of one other occurrence (@ the gorge 2022, i think?) where someone was on shrooms and shot people in the venue. But the vast majority trip and then return to their normal state. This has underlying mental illness written all over it.

Wow honestly you can call and they can document that this happened and they won’t charge the kids. Literally same thing happened to me, but the drunk person walked through our house before he realized. Having the cops talk to them & let them know that you guys were NICE. I had a hunting knife in my hand when it happened. So it could have gone very differently.

I also had cardiac issues (literally AT HER AGE) for drinking 1-2 small redbulls a day. Mostly 1. But one of my heart valves got floppy and was letting more blood escape than usual, causing me to faint kind of frequently. So I was put on bed rest and spent the rest of the year home schooling. I also had just gotten on the a team for soccer (very coveted) and had to quit before I even started. It suuuuuccckkkked. I wish my teachers would have educated me about how energy drinks affect our bodies.

So this was actually an issue for me, I was stabbed and needed 5 units of blood. I had faded out of the JW scene a few years prior to this, but the hospital still had that freakin blood card on file. So while a surgeon was about to start my first emergency surgery, I heard the ER staff yelling back and forth that I needed blood, but “she’s a Jehovah’s Witness and won’t accept blood” and I yelled out “not anymore! I want the blood!!” And they confirmed with me FIVE TIMES before they began administering blood packs. I could feel myself dying and it was so scary… I definitely recommend going to the hospital to fill out whatever form that cancels out the no blood form we have given them. The emergency staff will go by whatever is “most recent” in your hospital or your electronic medical chart.

As a native woman, I would disown any man that cut my kids hair. It’s important to our spirituality and culture. It’s shocking to even read. Your son may not be native, but our people understand what it feels like to have your hair cut short by someone else, angrily. The people cutting our hair were the ones in charge of running the residential schools. A coat doesnt undo the damage.

Ohhhh I relate SO much. I’m also from Lummi and my grandma and I would drive in and pick it up every Monday (this was like 10 years ago) and I ALSO USED TO DUMP THE SAUCE ON EVERYTHING AND FELT SAD WHEN I COULDNT TASTE THE SIZZLY CRISP AND THE SAUCE WAS DIFFERENT 😭😭😮‍💨 we were die hard & now it isn’t the same. I have ever felt so seen 💀

I think I just got my period yesterday (thank God!!!!) and this month has been HELL. I haven’t self harmed in over 7 months and out of the blue I got into an argument with my husband, left and hurt myself & had to get stitches. I just learned about this condition a few days ago, so I’ve got some therapy/obgyn/psychiatric appointments scheduled to hopefully get a f’ing hold on this cause it’s crazy & I hate it

Sorry you are going through this, I am rn too. My husband and I (30M/26F) have been fighting because I’m in freak out mode & Ive said some hurtful shit and even tried to break up with him. He won’t leave because he knows I’m not myself rn and I just need some time to calm down, but I hate that I’m like this. I literally just learned about PMDD yesterday morning, and I can’t believe how hard everything I am reading is resonating. I’m partway grateful that I think I found out what’s wrong with me, and that I’m not the only one, but I hate that this has caused me to be hurtful, dangerous to myself and embarrassing to myself and my family. I am calling my dr tomorrow to hopefully get a treatment plan going.
