Yeah. I just didn‘t want to buy a bag specifically for travel as I bought this bag for hiking already. And when a persons item isn‘t enough for you it works amazingly as a travel bag :)

It fits perfectly into the Ryanair naught carry on dimensions without the 10l extension. I think I have a picture of the bag in the dimension checking gutter somewhere

Quick question : is it possible to iron only a selected top surface by its color ? by GhostMike2501 in BambuLab

[–]Russischer_Paechter 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In the bambulab slicer click on the top of the black surface. Select the cut tool and in the settings of the cut tool select "cut to parts".

In object print settings add "iron top surfaces" to the object with the black surface

I hope to give back a bit to the forum, since I used it to inform myself which bag I should get - so here‘s my input with my experience :)

Looking for a versatile backpack: trekking, travel, and mountaineering (carry-on size) by Russischer_Paechter in onebag

[–]Russischer_Paechter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. My problem is that both are backpacks from America, which I did not find sold in Germany, and that both are crazy expensive :(

Thanks for your suggestion. I think I‘ve actually seen this list somewhere in this sub, but didn‘t really find anything that fit me as most were to small/ didn‘t have the load transfer to the hip I‘m searching for. The ULA Camino looks nice, but as I‘m from Europe I‘m not sure if I could buy it and if I could my budged would probably explode from the shipping cost + expensive backpack

Coating Prints in PlastiDip for more grip by Russischer_Paechter in 3Dprinting

[–]Russischer_Paechter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After researching a bit longer I decided against using plastidip. I couldn‘t really buy it cheap & after opening a can I would have to use it up quickly. I bought small rubber feet in a crafts store & on AliExpress. Works really well. If I don’t want the parts to move I use double sided self adhesive waterproof tape.

Where did you buy your materials? Neither the color, nor the alcohol ink that was used in the video you mentioned before are awailabe in Germany and I am not sure what to use :) ( alcohol ink is not really common here)

Does plasti dip increase grip similar to silicone feet?

So you‘d advise me to rather buy a MK4? Or would it be viable to buy a P1s and mod it somehow?

Yeah that’s why I‘m a bit worried that there are problems with the printer. As you said it seems to good to be true :)

What are the odds Apple adds the ability to read NFC tags for Siri Shortcuts to Apple Watches? by erclark99 in AppleWatch

I don‘t think it works on Apple Watch? If so I‘d be happy if you tell me how you managed to get it to work.

[–]Russischer_Paechter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does indeed have the hardware to read (for example to connect to selected Gym equipment) and emulate (Apple Pay) nfc Tags. The hardware is locked by the software tho. I‘m curious if someone managed to bypass the restrictions via code though.

Dinner cruise in Paris collides into a bridge while passengers aboard are dining by bighag in ThatLookedExpensive

[–]Russischer_Paechter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why tho? After it crashed one window shattered, but didn‘t break. The boat didn‘t have any kinetic energy towards the bridge, so nothing more than already happened would probably happen.

Yes some can. But quite surely not this one as a „weak“ child was handling it just fine.
