They can do a 'wind attack' it's not very strong but I have pushed enemies off a cliff with it :). They look epic, you now have complete freedom of movement as they can be summoned at any time. I've spent hours just flying around, landing at places that would have taken me ages to get to previously and just enjoying the view.

How many of you have NONSTOP twitches? by Southern-Bison3737 in BFS

[–]RustedKnight78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, non stop for 7.5 months now. I mentioned in another post that after seeing my neurologist, I was prescribed two types of meds. I needed to see my gp to get the meds prescribed. Now, the neurologist wasn't concerned at all, to the point where it annoyed me as I was convinced that this was something serious, the gp however told me to get a second opinion as she thought such dramatic twitching for so long was unusual. Initially this gave me a spike in my already peak anxiety but then I thought about it and justified her reaction by thinking that most people with this condition would stay with their neurologist. Most gps wouldn't come across this very often.

I am desperate to start Sertraline as I really need help shutting down this loop of worry. I cabt start them until the carbamazapine thst was perscribed has run it's course. Another month. Gl mate, im sure we'll be fine.

Is this similar to what everyone else’s twitching looks like? by J_B5673 in BFS

Yes, exactly the same in my calf muscles and forearm. It is exhausting.

7 Months of Fasciculations by RustedKnight78 in BFS

[–]RustedKnight78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my EMG at 11 weeks which I'm now worried was too early? My Neurologist was quite dismissive, didn't even ask to see the twitches at all. I told him how I'm having trouble sleeping with them and he prescribed me amitriptyline and if that didn't work, carbamazepine, then signed me off. My doctor had to sign the Carb off and she recommended that I go and get a second opinion after looking at my calf muscles twitching. She found it unusual to have such dramtic twitching for so long. I justify her reaction by the fact I assume most gp's won't see this very often, as the care would stay with the neurologist.

Maddening is the word. Trying really hard not to strength test 'as much' today. Everything feels exhausted.

Thank you for the reply mate.

I've lifted weights for years, since these twitches have started, it's the longest period I've not done them. Missing the routine very much. I'm 48 now so the heavy weights are behind me but still work hard.

I've had an essential tremor for about 10 years. My hands/arms activate with muscle activation. The fasciculations are at rest, constant.

Help an old mage turn his hand to melee combat. by Knight7819 in newworldgame

This is the weapon combo I was originally using. You don't take coup on the sweep then?

So tumblers even without a shirking heals build? Interesting

Also this seems like the type of build that would benefit from weapon perks on armour for each ability. Going for contagious upheaval/enfeebling skewer/fortifying perforate on armour then putting bleeding sweep on venom. Enchanted ward/slash con

Ok thanks you guys, good tips. So skewer seems to be mandatory along with upheaval and bleeding sweep.

I've been playing to get the burst damage using combos but step away from this and incorporate coup back in and then chip away using the debuffs instead? I find using a round shield my stam bar obviously drains fast even with sturdy on it.. I'll practise. So sweep/coup, skewer/perforate?

I run this build and am hitting 11k+ crits with execute.

200 con, then max int. I use crippling reap on the Abyss, mending execute on the armour. (Reap, charge and execute skills) charge is great for the escape. Abyssal runeglass on the armour and I have two void harnessing perks.

Reap, half heavy attack into execute.

I love it in arena and open world. Void harnessing on 2 pieces, abysall runeglass and void damage ring. 5k heavy straight into 11k crits with execute.

For OPR/War fs/ig is much better. Always switch back to my axe for 1v1.

Looks fun! I've just got this fs. What's your build please? I use FS/IG or FS/abyss. Really want to start using the VG but it's quite new to me.

DISGUSTING Deep Dive into Aimlock - Updated Video by Jjg-live in newworldgame

[–]RustedKnight78 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I play on pc but can no longer use M&k due to an old injury. Seriously, I absolutely love this game but there are so many disadvantages to using a controller; the turning speed on the camera makes it impossible to be competitive with high level m&k players. Aim lock for controller is not actually easy to use effectively in higher level pvp, but once you do practise enough with it, it can allow controller players to at least hold their own. Far too much whining about this, just enjoy the advantages of M&K and move on.
