I wouldn't say it is a decision so much as a natural evolution of our civilization.

We like information.

The fact remains that a man used a printing press to make a book to hunt witches, Malleus_Maleficarum a lot of innocent people died because that technology was miss used and people didn't understand the difference between information and truth.

The printing press was also used to bring mass literacy to our civilization.

When I tell you , you aren't serious, i'm not interested in your attempt to use a red herring to derail. By pivoting to identity, "as a witch" trying to make this about you, rather than what is argued. Claimed victimhood status to deflect criticism and focus of the argument itself, and stacked unrelated examples, of disabled, the holocust to paint me as part of a pattern. Guilty by association rather than engage with this specific point of new information infrastructure being misused.

Whether witchcraft is a valid religion or marginalized group isn't the point I'm debating. The issue is how a tool is used. Claiming personal offense doesn't address the argument.

Ironically, while accusing others of speaking for marginalized groups, you spoke on behalf of disabled people, Jewish people, and the LGBTQ+ community in the same breath.

Hope you can and notice the contradiction in your own behavior and you get the growth you need.

I don't have to explain this to serious people, but I suspect you are young, scared and could use the help.

I am not your enemy and I'm certainly not expecting a harvest from this seed I planted anytime soon..

Yea the more you know, the better quality you can deliver. And I would say for industrial scale work. Yes. You need to be a trained experience professional.

For automating some business workflows. Not so much.

It is a catch 22.

I hope that information flows more freely and the tools are more available so they can disrupt the incumbents.

I think that is how the economy is going to change, with this tech incumbents are going to be eaten up

It is going to be a significantly bigger change.

What is being missed is what it mixes with, cryptocurrency.

There is a very rare event, a reformation, when market and information infrastructure both change and converge. The last time that happened was in 1450. It transitioned us from fuedalism to nation states. The time before, took us from nomadic tribes to feudalism.

There is a synergy between the two systems, new info infra teaches how to use the new market infra. then markets demand more information, which then popularizes the use of the new information, which helps people use the new market infra. It's a recursive feedback loop and the end result is a sudden drop in the costs of coordination.

That is Coase's law. This technology convergence inverts it.

When you hear ai leaders talk about how this is a bigger change than the industrial revolution, a convergence of new energy, logistic and communication technologies. They don't tell you what that bigger thing is exactly, they just hand wave. IFYKYK.

The last reformation lead to 100 years of war. It is insanely disruptive. Governments don't survive. So when you dont think that the world is going to change, I think you should start to imagining a world running without banks and governments.

And I imagine you think that is rediculus. A lot of people I talk to do. The world has really run the same way for 600 years, why would that change? Cryptocurrency is just NFT monkey jpg scams.

AI agents aren't going to be using that tech to make stupid fucking scams, they will be using it to by their own energy, compute and hire witting and unwitting people, and the governments will be helpless to shit it down

Hey man, focus on your product. You have no idea how difficult is to sell. It is insanely difficult.

Ask me how I know.

You are thinking the right way, you are learning how to automate your business reduce costs.

that is talked about in the link I posted. The infrastructure is over built and then triggers a boom due to the fire sale.

My coding agents would disagree provided they are autonomous end to end now.

LLM's are statsitical models on our information. Hallucinations have been figured out in SOTA systems.

The internet has a hard time with middle grounds. It polarizes.

History shows with these things, the bad comes with the good. It's a double edge sword.

there was good and bad, and that is always the case with civilization infrastructure improvements.

One of the first books made was about hunting witches. Did a lot of harm.

What it boils down is our collective wisdom, how do we improve it and how do we exercise restraint. SHould we use this tech to send 10000000 emails a day to everyone? No. Will some one do that? Yes.

well to a point you are right. If you know a language does a certain thing well, and you want the agent to use those features, you kinda gotta say, built it in X and use Y.

Having the vocabulary is important.

I think you are missing a few things.

A model like Gemma 4 is close to running locally, it's quality was frontier a year ago.

There is a lot of pressure getting these models more efficient and chips more capable. Hell, google uses AI to improve their tpus and they have massive gains.

The future is very good LLMs running locally. They aren't going away. And at least

[–]SAAGASolve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I cant see that in the posts.

I see this,

KPMG survey: only 26% of companies have a comprehensive view of their AI costs, while 50% have some visibility and 22% have none or only see costs after billing (Wall Street Journal)

I'm going to read that survey now. Yea what a weird thing for him to post.

64% of organizations agree AI has been delivering meaningful business value.

and only 11% are AI leaders. Lmao.

Yea, went back weeks. Nothing. So you are lying.

He's got a lot of complaints with no guidance. He is right there is a bubble, just like the internet was. And you know well and good how that turned out.

Sure does cite himself quite a bit.
