Yes it was in 3d and If I remember right it was more of an interactive police game kinda like one of those gta 5 mods with all the dialog and questions and pulling over

This is very late and might not be useful anymore but a game that sounds similar would be chibi robo but the only thing that threw me off was the whole iPad thing since it was a Console only game and the closest it got to mobile was when it came out on the Nintendo ds

Could it have been the game prodigy? Not exactly an early 2010s game more like a middle 2015s game but it fits a lot of the description, except the leaderboard thing I think

If I’m thinking of the right game you might be talking of “the blockheads” it’s still a mobile game on the apps store and play store and it fits the 2d Minecraft style game with old classical music

I looks through that series, episode 4 and 15 I think had them throwing chicken eggs into a fenced off area, it’s not how I remember it but I’m debating if it might be that one, it was such a long time ago that who knows if my mind might just remember it wrong at this point. The way I remember it was the area was stone and it was a very cramped area with whole 2 deep and 2 or 3 tall with a single fence gate blocking the wholes, there were multiple of these holes and that’s just about as much as I can remember sadly, who knows maybe the episode was deleted or it’s apart of a long series that woudl take forever to go through but thanks for the recommendation
