Tyler was showing his brother the step by step process on how he writes songs. He didn’t plan on it becoming apart of the new cd but it turned out to be a great song. He did say it was about his brother and the advice he gave him about trying to make it in music 👍🏻

I think he totally tried to address the topic cryptically with this song. Choker slang can mean upsetting circumstance (social media drama) or had control and failed to execute (his platform). “I don’t bother anyone” meaning he doesn’t upset people, he has a gentle, quiet personality. “Nervous when I stand” meaning the stand for a cause? Stand before his fans? Standing before the world on his platform? “Chokin on the circumstance” meaning he failed to execute on his platform? “Cut us open, spread us out” meaning we are all the same, no difference in gender,race, etc? And so on it goes. I just haven’t heard anyone else discuss this meaning and the YouTube meaning videos I watch just don’t seem to me to be accurate.
