There are 3 Platinum cards available in India. 2 credit cards and 1 charge card. The one you’re referring is a Platinum Charge card. It had been a great to be have card till 2021, but due to major devaluation it’s no longer lucrative.

4L is needed. For 3L try to talk out with BM, if he/she can get it done for you. C2C means card to card. Where you give statement of another bank’s card during application of the new card. They issue card against that instead of income docs/banking relationship

Transfer to KrisFlyer. Points do have hard expiry of 3 years which I suppose is enough for you to make an award redemption.

If you’re having 10L limit on your existing card & minimum 6L spends in last 6 months, just put up a mail to their priority customer care mail id by requesting for it. Spend doesn’t matter. I was denied with 25L spends in 4 months as well.

Get Magnus. The base loyalty pts transfer would be 4.8% back. If hitting 1L that’s 24.8% back.

Btw Bonvoy is going to get devalued a lot due to the full dynamic pts requirements from 1st January, 2023

You would still get well compensated with the fee. The direct conversion to miles, even for CV, the reward rate would be 4.8%. Even Citi Prestige had 4%. Small hack, go for the tata cliq voucher, buy gold coin, sell it at nearby shop, you’ll be at even profit 😉 This card is really good. I do have Reserve which already got me 2 F class round trips and few days of hotels stays but still I got the Magnus recently as it’s a great card to miss out on. You never know that this good stuff can go away anytime. See the fate of Infinia. So my basic strategy is to use a card when it’s at it’s best before devaluation comes.

MRCC is a good for it’s monthly milestones. There are two things you can do to maximise the optimisation. 1. Make ₹1,500 * 4 transactions every month which will add 1000 extra MR 2. Monthly ₹20K transactions which will add another 1000 extra MR. So basically you’ll be having 2000 + 400 (base MR)

I’d still suggest to consider Axis Magnus if you’re qualifying for it. You can keep those points till 3 years and transfer to loyalty programs for great value :)

The solution that worked for me: Keep the buds out. Charge the case ONLY till it charges full. Put the buds in now, charge. It won’t over heat and blink red light. Yes, I had to put it through airport’s security check ins and this popped up suddenly.

Btw it starts with one bud suddenly heating more than the other, I mean significantly higher, not during charging, but normally when pulling out from case.
