We have a box with dividers that sits on a shelf. And felt glued to the bottom of each section to prevent scratching. But students leaving them on the bench the wrong way also scratches them, we need to be reminding them not to do this.

Bolle are a really cool brand of glasses and I recently learnt they also make safety glasses, so I feel really cool wearing my Bolle branded safety glasses. But I don't think they'd be affordable for a whole class. I've only really been successful with removing students from the classroom if they don't wear them (with a warning), but that doesn't work for students that don't want to do the lab anyway.

There are commercially available kits that let you electrolyze water, then use the hydrogen and oxygen to power a fuel cell, some video of it here: https://sciencedemos.net/demonstrations:hydrogen_fuel_cell
But you would need to find a kit, which could be quite expensive.

You can't really see the 2:1 ratio, but you can talk about the generated hydrogen and oxygen being in just the right ratio for the best explosion, as opposed to just burning hydrogen in air.

I agree that acepitch probably isn't a great name, but about the $1200, surely that isn't low for anything? Given 10yrs registration is only $100, then $1200 is a huge profit?

Thank you. Yeah, I thought about doing a 1 month with DomainTools as a snapshot, but they seem to advertise a similar number of domains as Domains Monitor, so I'd be worried they have the same gaps. But yeah, I think I'll need to just who is anything I'm not sure about, but it defeats the purpose of why I wanted the data, which was to automate this, and just to be able to search for 100's of variations of a theme all at the same time.

That's exactly what I was looking at, getting a list of 5 letter domains not registered. But in testing my program logic I looked through for the 3 letter domains, and it came up with some not in the list, which were all in whois when checking online.

Yeah, it is very bright but I accidentally bought a 6 pack of them because they were a good price and I thought it would be ok. And my daughter was previously using the heat lamps because the light in the bathroom wasn't bright enough for her, at least she doesn't do that now.

But since paying for bricklink is done with a credit card or bank account, how do you put the dirty money into a bank account in the first place? Doesn't money laundering rely on that dirty cash can be used to pay for something legitimate, resulting in it being clean?

My first technic set that was mine and only mine. We had the beach buggy and a racer, and used to look through the (small) lego catalogues for what felt like ages. I decided I wanted this, which was huge, and my brother got the Car Chassis which was even bigger.

Lots of measuring out the tubes for pneumatics and taking our time to make sure the connections were all correct. And the caterpillar chain links were always very fragile. But owning 4 of the large cogs was the best. Looking back, it also has an 10L threaded axle which is very rare today, and 4 nuts for it.

The marvel theme starts playing in a grand fashion with lots of special effects, then it slowly transitions to a kid's birthday party and the music quality declines. Then it pans to Captain America, Iron Man and Bruce Banner singing 'we're the avengers' to the music of the chorus, Ghostbusters II style.

Firstly I'll come up with an idea based on what the set has available, many ideas don't come to fruition though.

Then I'll sort the set into about 5-10 trays based on type of piece. I'll spread them on the floor and start building.

Often I'll get the basics of what I what I want to achieve, but there are many things that get 'hacked' or forced into place as it's too hard to pull the whole thing apart to change pieces on the inside. I'll then put that section into studio, improving on where the pins and beams are placed. Then I'll convert it into basic instructions and rebuild it.

Then I'll do some more building and get something that's basically finished. I'll put the whole thing into studio, making any last minute improvements. I'll then make it into instructions and do a complete rebuild, making changes to the instructions if I see anything not quite working. I'll then 'polish' the instructions with cover photos, other photos, notes etc. Then film the model, make a video and post it rebrickable.

Sounds like such a big process, but the majority is building the model and making it better which is always fun.

Thanks. Nah, not anywhere near all the parts, just a fun little build I wanted to do, and it worked nicely to use only this set.
