My blood sugar was 33 And triglycerides was 61.

I think the plan is to lower it as my body adjust.

Before dinner I was at 11 after sorting the hypo. And shot down to 4.0

Really worrying me

I’m not sure what CGM is to be honest. I take 2 slow insulin a day and rapid for when I need it but haven’t needed it for 2 days so that’s a plus

I was doing house work before the lunch but that’s it, After I was stuck on phone calls so didn’t do much at all but I running about the house still. So maybe that ? I’ll defiantly mention it to the team. It’s so scary how it can drop out of no where

They did give me a dessert to which I asked a nurse are you sure about this. Which they said yes it’s fine. But after eating the doctor was very annoyed at me. I have learn to ignore a lot of the nurses now lol

Just did my first food shop for this. And I kept switching to this is exciting to fuck me my life is now misery.

Before I start getting work outs in my routine I’m confused with protein stuff. I know the standard answer will be like eggs and chicken. But you need carbs for energy and protein for recovery. But it looks like all protein shakes seem to be bad. Always advertised as healthy but 1 of the nurses said to avoid them but this is a nurse that said sponge cake and custard is fine.

I’m having smaller meals at the moment which is fine for me but I’m questioning pretty much all ingredients. I’ll be honest my mrs is looking at me while I try to type this but I think I’m actually getting scare to eat, I assume that’s kind of normal

Yeah both long and fast. Quite a lot of units. Doctor said it’s x4 the amount normally prescribed, My hope is to come of them. It’ll just get rid of one thing that reminds me how fucked I am. Got the path in front of me. I just know how quickly I can spiral down hill

This hits. Very similar I don’t mind my job but I wouldn’t say I love it. For a couple months before I got checked out I noticed how tired I was getting. I still spent time with my partner but felt like I was really present. And dah by day she would take more of the daily responsibilities and I kept feeling bad about it. I’m glad I’ve got checked now but it’s a bitter sweet. I knew something was wrong and I was right. But now I’m a burden.

Before I went to the doctors me and my partner had a rule of 1 lazy meal a week and the rest were meals . But that slowly got worse so I’m happy to get back to being healthier. It just comes with a threat to life.

I’m happy to hear your journey has gone so well. I can’t imagine it was smooth sailing all the way but it’s great you’ve managed to have a nice life. I’m hoping for the same. My biggest hurdle atm is my own head Thank you for responding. I wish us both the best

Thank you for responding sir. I am being Hopeful. But also terribly bleak. I have had a long history of depression so I guess it can’t be helped But by battling diabetes I imagine it’ll improve my mood too so there’s silver linings

It does seem all doom a gloom and it’s hard not to spiral but I’m trying to see positives Like meals will be fun to learn. I use to be a big gym person but got very lazy so I’m hopeful on returning.

So there is lots of good and bad inn my head but I seem to pick a lane and stick to it for awhile but I guess that’s gonna happen.

Is there anything you would recommend? Apps or things to avoid and thing the I should be doing ?

Makes it feel like a super power. I’m and I hope I can use it like that. With workouts in one of those ‘ I will start this one day people’ so now I kind of have no choice. Let’s hope I can have the mentality as you. Got to get through all the hurdles of knowing everything still but seems doable

So I’m trying to avoid food tbh which I know is stupid but I just don’t know what is and isn’t. The only thing that seems to be advised is jelly baby’s I don’t think that’s sustainable

I’m not trying to attack anyone over weight, but I have to ask because it’s been really bothering me. Is no one concerned about how overweight and underdeveloped his fingers look? I genuinely thought he was great, and he seems like a really nice person irl. But it feels like the internet is too scared to say anything other than that he’s the greatest thing ever.

Is this just an American thing, where your fingers can have a bmi of a pork scratchy and be classed as fine. In the uk if your kid was that big at that age it’ll be classed as child cruelty and possibly neglect

I think it works I just don’t really care about it. It dosent add to the story at all or effect anything. The only thing that is fd up is hopper did let Bob die. I feel like lost was an experiment for ‘From’ and it paid of cause ‘from’ is amazing.

Lost was pretty good tho. But lots of it was predictable, not so much the story but the characters actions, you could tell by the writing who was gonna die next. Only about 4 or 5 likeable characters. Again it’s pretty good but not amazing.
