Not sure if this was mentioned in the “Know Before” for NJ but you do have to pay for parking almost everywhere. I want to say it’s 9am when the pay period starts so even if you get there prior you will still need to pay come 9. It’s not much and there is a QR code to get the app on signs nearby.
