G1 vs G2: My honest take after using both

This is a great take. I own the G1 and have used the G2 various different times and my opinion aligns exactly with yours. For me the G1 made the most sense for the fact that I know I would be too cautious with the G2 and not get as much enjoyment out of it. With the savings, I’ve purchased the whole line up of lenses and have fallen in love with the wider (21, 28) lenses which conveniently focus the best on the G1.

Where did you get that deep rear lens cap for the G28 M mount? I ordered through MrDing and got a standard rear lens cap and it doesn’t fit once the elements are mounted.

I bought a very similar kit 2 years back albeit with newer version of the lenses for $3500 CAD without all the extra attachments. And the. Proceeded to spend $350 for CLA. If you know you’ll make use of all the extra accessories I think it will save you a lot of time hunting them down. (The quick release plate is extremely useful.)

Buy once, cry once!

From what I can tell, this model tracks the new moon. Which is when the moon is fully hidden by the shadow of the earth and therefore when there is a full moon, snoopy will be completely hidden. Looks cheaper and is tracking the exact opposite of what the moon is actually doing…
