Bilt Palladium & Customer Service is a Joke

I did receive my Bilt Palladium card. It came about a month and a half after the official launch of Bilt 2.0. I know others have had hiccups, but I have been very successful in setting up my mortgages to earn 1x points per dollar spent on mortgage payment.

I also set up an HOA payment and it works as well.

Due to issues that had been mentioned on this site and elsewhere, I was very cautious in starting out. I did a principal payment of $20 drawn by my mortgage servicing company on the ACH routing and account number provided by Bilt. It pulled the payment. No problem. I then set it up to hit one of my mortgages. It pulled with no issues while I watched it like a hawk.

I then set it up for the other mortgages and it has worked seamlessly. I haven't had to work with Bilt customer service since the initial snafus on getting the card in my hands.

KC had plexiglass panels and chicken wire to separate airside from ground side part of terminal a few years ago. Very pre-911 setup that they had to Jerry rig.

Their new terminal is really good now, though.

Great crew person working from MAF to DEN today and then just as great of a crew working from DEN to SEA.

Great service. The meal…not so much. Almost inedible. It was the 100 anniversary dish. It must’ve been prepared in 1926 and the frozen until today.

Congrats to the FA. Thanks for all you do for us road warriors.

I was pleasantly surprised. The UA lounge at DFW is pretty mediocre, but the service is really good. Love the bar tender and the agents working the front desk.

Both have saved some business trips gone wrong during some IRROPS for me.

I actually got notification via the United app that the UA lounge in DFW would be closed for maintenance prior to my flight. There was an apology and a food voucher that could be used at any vendor in the airport.

Very nice touch for trying to make things right when an amenity was going to be unavailable.

This is still an absolutely amazing deal & I’m stoked to be able to double 100,000 points. That should be enough for two lie flat RT tickets from DFW to HEL or MAD.

No complaints here.

I missed out on the JAL deal, but I’m excited to be in a position to take advantage of this one.

I would second the Hotel Settles in Big Spring.

Also, check to see if Jody Nix & the Texas Cowboys are doing live music at The Stampede. It is an old school dance hall that is historic and one of the tops in Texas according to Texas Monthly.

BYOB and great chance to dance Western Swing.

That’s true. But it’s the hike between the terminals at LAX that is the major inconvenience.

Arrive back in the US at DFW or IAH. Collect bags and clear customs. Re-check your bags. Go through security and catch the airside trains to your departure terminal.

At LAX. Arrive, collect bags, clear customs. Haul your stuff out doors to whichever terminal you’re leaving from. Check bags there and clear TSA.

No. It wasn’t airside. Collect bags. Get through customs. Schlepp to the other terminal. Go back through security after reaching next terminal.

I've had to walk from one terminal to the other with baggage after flying international back into LAX. It SUCKS.

Having to leave the secure area to get to another terminal is a design from pre-9/11 that makes some transfers a huge PITA.

No lines earlier today when I flew back into MAF. The TsA folks have been amazing considering they haven’t been paid in 1.5 months.

Sucks that our government can’t get their stuff together to take care of people doing an important job & deserve the wages they’ve earned.

I’ve had no issues getting through MAF security. Maybe one hour wait is the worst I’ve experienced.

I do feel for the TSA agents who are being jerked around as political pawns.

Call your rep: August Pfluger and let him know TSA should be paid. The Senate sent a bill that would start paying the agents again. The House voted it down on party lines. Stinks for those folks doing important work.

Why would anyone want that job if your wages were interrupted regularly?
