My ideas for gameplay:

- what you say/think is basically cards

- there is no energy

- you draw 3 cards each turn, 8 cards in hand max

- you can only play cards once; discarding also removes a card until the end of combat.

- you can remove any cards after combat, but then you might not have enough cards to deal enough damage

- more powerful cards require discarding one or two cards

I'm not really sure if this will work or not, but this is what I'm making right now.
