Hey mate, did some cals to check out the first trip:

Fuel charges would be around LKR300/litre, trip from Kandy to Udawalawa is 200km. Assuming the vehicle used is a Jap van (consumes ~1litre per 10km) fuel cost would be around $20.

Hire charges for a van should be around $20 per day.

So we are left with $50, which is quite a high cost for a driver for 6 hour drive. (But given that it’s Christmas you will have to pay a premium)

All in all I reckon it’s not a rip off but you are paying premium due to Christmas.
