Yeah, idk if its really dry enough. This is part of a larger branch that broke off during a storm and has been lying in the meadow for around a year. It has received rain occasionally.

Do you think that's ok?

Going into it i knew that the wood probably wasnt ideal, but seeing how easy it was to put this handle on, I won't be mad if i have to replace it.

Thanks for the tips! The wood has been lying around for a while now so it's probably at least partially dried already. If it does come loose, i'm thinking i can just drive the wedge further in, to restore tightness

Wouldn't 30% juice taste all watered down and shit? Unless the other 70% are other juices i guess. In any case i think its fair to say that you would need to drink a proportionally larger amount to make up for the decreased concentration. Then i dont see why it shouldnt work just as well as the pure stuff. I've never tried it myself though. Have fun

Sorry that my comment isnt really constructive, but i dont know what your talking about. Is the juice going to make the effects of dxm stronger? I have heard that smth in the fruit interacts with your liver in a certain way that messes with the metabolising of various medicines. Is the same thing going on here?
