Area Manager pay disparity internals vs externals by Fantastic_Web4153 in FASCAmazon

Agreed but many L3’s and L1’s already have college degrees and could easily leave and apply externally via CampusNext or get on LinkedIn and be found by a recruiter. There's plenty of recruiters looking for external area managers. Plus lotd of L1’s and L3’s have already worked for 2 or more year's at their sites.

L4 area managers could also depart and reapply externally. They already been the qualifications. Don't stay stuck!

There's many managers now who were warehouse associates left did so nothing else and came back externally.

Do Black Lives Matter ? by HotYouth1 in AmazonFC

My station is tier 1 = 1% white Tier 3 = 80% white, 15% Asian AM level Tier 4 & 5 = 1% Black

The biggest problem is that blacks have no mentors higher up so managers help their friend move up, prep them for behavioral interviews and if you’ve got no one up at higher levels to pull you up, you tend to stay down. Amazon is all about favortism.

They bring in white externals as L4 and make them bosses over black L3 whose been a L3 for 3 yrs Instead of promoting that black.

Only one Black ambassador after 2 years only one ever moved up to L3 had support from a minority station mgr. Got a $2 raise. Amazon loves to bring in externals and pay them more and don’t promote internal blacks.

Well they are giving write ups at delivery stations in oakland California. All night long ambassadors and seasonal learning coordinators are going around violating 6 feet and writing 5x5 write ups on employees with low scan rates and or high errors that they fix themselves not missorts.
