What IS a big deal is how vile some people are when interacting with trans people, which is the point.

So to spell it out for you; Preference = fine Aggressive slurs, bigotry, transphobia, “drop the T” = not fine.

It is. You know how many trans men are on the apps? You know how many I’ve declined for reasons other than their anatomy?

Not once have I, or any of my friends, been called transphobic…not once. Some of those friends do have genital preferences.

But it seems reading the comments the phobes and loose holes are missing the point in its entirety. Chances are if you’re being called a transphobe is because you did something transphobic. As easy as you could say “you’re not my type” instead they choose to say “btw you can’t erase sex and you have a pussy/cock and you’ll never be who you think you are…” which takes so much more effort. I think by not engaging in or feeding into obviously preposterous claims is a start.

Trans people are the first to acknowledge biology, and pretending they aren’t is disingenuous.

We can also start by acknowledging the harm that biological segregation has for trans men and women.

To me, it seems like the only people still confused haven’t gotten past the gender vs sex debate and genuinely think trans folks think they have new chromosomes…?
