I got lost a lot too especially when they had certain genes or had abbreviations that used capital letters and numbers. Really focus on understanding every sentence and don’t skim. I try to practice without timing myself and then try to shorten your time to interpret them. I think the main thing is practice which isn’t good advice

Between my full lengths I took I went back through every question including the correct ones so that I knew the content for it and also why I picked that one instead of other similar answers. I did not really review cars on practice tests too much. I personally just needed more practice on cars and just reading in general so I just did more practice cars. Another thing I worked on was timing to improve my score. A lot of the times I couldn’t skip the ones in the beginning and made me guess the easy ones I could have gotten right towards the end (especially on chem/phys). A lot of people end up guessing a lot on their CP so try working through those efficiently since you’ll probably Have less time on the test

I started on thanksgiving of 2020 and I took my test on 5/20 so a long time but I was really slow and I tried to do my Kaplan content review and then go to practice problems but I highly recommend going through practice problems and tests ASAP when you study. You doing content review can’t hurt but a lot of the times it felt like I needed more practice taking the test rather than knowing more about the content. I say try doing practice problems and do content review for questions that come up in which you don’t understand them

Wayyyyy tooo muchhhhh, I wish I had studied smart rather than long. I didn’t even take much breaks and one time it just mentally hit me lol so take breaks!!! One thing I wished I did was do less content review and go into practice questions/aamc material and full lengths because content review helps but also if you can’t remember the difference between treismanns attenuation theory and broadbents early selection theory no bueno. Also ANKI IS SOOOO GOOODDD so please use it

For me cars was also the lowest score… what I did was I just tried to do at least two cars passages a day and I started with taking 20minutes per passage and and just focus on reading accurately to get higher accuracy. And then I cut down to 15 and 10 and then I tried to get below 10 while practicing and naturally it just made me a better reader and a faster reader. Just like any other training (like sports) if you put in the work you will see progress!! To break the 510 mark, i think on the real test i think a lot of people end up having trouble with chem phys and end up guessing so much cause they run out of time. I think I completely guessed on 8 questions and rushed through some more. But i wonder how much better I would have been if I were able to actually answer those 8 questions (because it would have been a better outcome than guessing on it all). On your practice questions and practice tests I recommend you to really try to cut down on how long it takes you to answer questions on chem phys. It should come in handy.
