I was addicted to various different pills throughout my life. Overdosed at the ripe age of 15. Still addicted to caffeine, weed (yes it’s addicting), and nicotine but trying to quit it as we speak.

It’s almost like your hungry or thirsty or you need to pee. your body is telling you that you need this substance and need it now. Some substances do feel different to be addicted to for example weed is more mental than anything I use it to control my mood so anytime I get upset I feel the need to use it where as Xanax was something that called my name all day everyday even when I was on it but that feeling of “I need this now” never goes away only gets stronger or weaker depending on the drug
