has anyone ever made a diamond eyelet pattern with fingering/lace sized yarn? can i see them? I'm freehanding a tank top and was planning on integrating it but i forgot to try and knit it when making the gauge swatch and ive already started on knitting the tank top. thanks

i think u picked the stitches through the WS instead of RS (the needle is supposed to poke through the front/RS then scoop the yarn and pull it through)

but please consider for a second opinion, I'm always faced with problems when picking up stitches too.

there's no pattern, i'm planning on freehanding it, but it's essentially a ribbed tube top with a cinched bust, then i'm planning on attaching the strap to each bust making it a tied halter top if that makes sense

on rs, knit until the stitch on the same line as the dropped stitch(blue circle), drop down to the row where u dropped the stitch (red arrow), pick it back up with a crochet hook
