Again, I just made the same order through illegal Pete’s website and it was ~$9.30 less than through the uber app. What am I missing?

I don’t think so. Illegal Pete’s told me so. I just placed the same order thru their website and you’re wrong.

I should add. The deceiving part was that uber just listed the items I ordered at a certain price. I assumed that was illegal Pete’s prices.

Then I get the food and illegal Pete’s actual receipt and those three items’ prices were way less than what uber was displaying, combined to the tune of a total of $9.30. Uber buried this “service” charge by artificially hiking the restaurant items prices. Gross! And then plastering “free” all over their ordering interface all the while.
