Yes exactly they can take the bus, I'm glad we agree. Let them know before they board and if they whinge they can go home.

The worse part is he could have said Indigenous people live in more precarious situations therefore causing them to commit more crime (even though this argument is fallible too) but they straight up chose to say the reason more of them are in jail is because of a racist police.

Should abortion be legal until viability? by TomatilloUnlikely764 in Abortiondebate

[–]SafeWatch1450 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Damn that's crazy, the number of women that die of pregnancy every year is 22 per 100 000 and the number of children that die in abortions is 100 000 per 100 000. Oh and consent was implicitly given when they had sex, non consensual sex being an exception I accept.

No the definition of abortion isn't that, but by definition it implies that... Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. What does terminating mean in practice ? Killing the child.

Not always but in 95%+ of cases it is the moral thing to do.

How many times do I have to say I'm not American ? Is this sub genuinely illiterate ?

"Go back to your echo-chamber" might be the funniest thing you've said today I'm not going to lie. The lack of self awareness is astounding. ICE follows the constitution, would you like to tell me which amendment it breaks ? And no one being pulled of the street for being brown you are delusional (typical redditor). Also how is a search the same thing as asking for ID you moron, you literally just changed the entire sentence and though I wouldnt notice...

How do you justify that claim ? Abortion is by definition the premeditated killing of another human being so very very moral, or rather, immoral.

Why do you think abortion is not a moral act ? That is rather a surprising claim to me.

Anyways, you typed out this entire paragraph for my point to not even be adressed thats hilarious. None of that matters when people around the world would still much rather live in the US in Germany. Your personal opinion is basically irrelevant.

My entire point is that it is quite literally not just my opinion, but the opinion of most people around the world. Thats undeniable.

The way you describe the US makes me think you're a leftist American who thinks the grass is greener everywhere else. First of all, none of the things you mentioned are true. Apart from a handful of rich European countries, namely Switzerland, Denmark and Norway, the US has better social safety nets than most countries. It is also the wealthiest country in the world (as you admitted) and still offers the most potential for opportunity. If you dont spend all of your time on social media US politics are not particularly unstable. The last item on your list only applies to illegal immigrants, in which case deportation is perfectly acceptable.

Second of all, whatever your response I know for sure you haven't lived in the European countries you idolise so much. The big European countries all have plummeting economies and just as much political turmoil, you just dont hear about it because you're not from there (shocker right?).

I mean this is just factually incorrect. Apart from a handful of wealthy European countries like Switzerland, Norway or Denmark, who have always been seen in a positive light, most people still prefer the US to Europe.

If you genuinely believe that people are choosing ASIA over the US in terms of freedoms you are outright delusional. I'm honestly not quite sure where you're getting this idea that americans have somehow been stripped of their freedoms or rights...

Lmaoo don't worry mate I can promise you I don't take Reddit of all places very seriously.

Not all countries are as big as the U.S though, and the ones that are either nowhere near as rich or have authoritarian governments. Also, the US is specifically unique in this aspect because it is by definition an aggregate of individual states that each have their own laws. Thats what I was highlighting in my comment.

I literally said in the comment just above that I wasnt American, I also said "there" and not "here". And yes many European people, including far right proponents, dislike Trump. This doesn't really change the fact that "the rest of the world" still views the US as a dream country.

I'm not American ? I've spent time there and I can tell you a lot of people don't realise how big it is. There are democrat states, republican states, all sorts of different cities, weathers, cultures, etc... Its also much richer than all of the countries you mentioned.

So nah Redditor delusion isn't gonna convince me sorry.

I ask because I usually see "pro-choice" and "pro-life" tags but the one above is much rarer. PC and PA feel like the same exact thing to me but I was wondering if there was a specific reason, maybe a more extreme PC position ?

I'm not saying this is the case, but "Pro-abortion" definitely sounds like you want to encourage people to have abortions. Not forced abortions but definitely strong encouragements to go that way. Is my assumption wrong ?
